You can get the F660EXR which has a 15x zoom instead of 20x. I favor a shorter zoom range for better image quality on a small sensor (and I don’t think you will ever need 500mm).

However, I also suggest you look at an used F200 because the colors of the SuperCCD is still much better than modern day CMOS.

UPDATE: Larry thanks for posting this. I have since sent the x100 in for repair. Eng Kiat said that most likely the lens assembly needs to be replaced. Turnaround time is estimated at 3 weeks due to the holiday season, and also limited number of parts.

hi kopiokaya , mine set also on the same firmware as your test set , am using the sandisk ext pro 45mbps sd card , didnt try other card , btw lastnite i do a few test with and without quick start / and set sleep mode 2-5min to reconfirm , and it will wakeup when i half press after 15min of sleep noproblem encounter .
